Fanboy Science: A Unied Theory of Superman’s Powers
Filed by mysteryGuy | September 30, 2009

This is a great day for fanboy science. Finally, a simple explanation for all of Superman’s powers has been written, all scienticific-like. From today’s Dinosaur Comics:
My friend Ben Tippett has been thinking about Superman’s powers from a physics perspective, and came up with a theory that all of his myriad powers: flight, x-ray vision, super hearing, cold breath, heat vision, lifting buildings over his head, catching Lois without breaking all her bones, etc, can be explained as manifestations of one power: the ability to manipulate the inertia of matter, both his own and matter that he comes in contact with. I’ve never heard such a simple Grand Unifying Theory of Superman’s powers before, so I convinced him to whip it up into a quick Scientific Paper Format, and here it is! AWESOME. Thanks Ben!
It’s genius. There’s even hand-drawn diagams!

Why do bands even pretend that the “last song” is really the last song? I have been to a number of concerts and just about every band will say the same thing, “This is our last song. Thanks for coming. Goodnight.”
They finish their jam and start running off stage. I don’t know, maybe someone in the band is feeling saucy and decides to throw a bottle of water into the crowd. Not a full water bottle…not an empty water bottle…but just enough for a few people to get wet.
Holy cow shit!! Did the drummer just throw his sticks into the crowd??
Guess what dumb teenager…that drummer will probably be working retail, dead or driving a truck by the time you go to college.
Anyways…Then the lights don’t turn on and no one leaves. The band comes back and will probably play something off of their first album and then some cover or some other bullshit.
When you say a show is over, how bout it be over. If you really want to nail out two more songs, then fucking play the two songs without the first dramatic exit.
We won’t hold it against you.

2nazis that are zombies OR zombies that are nazis?
Filed by phoenixMagoo | June 30, 2009
just putting this out there for conversation. i just recently saw the movie “dead snow” and i think i have a good question:
what works better for a zombie movie? a nazis zombie OR a zombie nazis?
personally, i think that a nazis zombie is a bit scarier, however, i would love for someone to present a counter argument…so do your magic interwebs.
